I am a reporter working mainly on the North Oakland beat. I work for the Montclarion and the Piedmonter — check out my stories at the Contra Costa Times website or through my online clips.
But not all of the interesting things I see make it into stories. As a student at the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley, I and some classmates kept a news blog about Oakland, writing shorter items but keeping up our journalistic standards.
I plan to link to my stories from this blog, but also put up the tidbits I come across as I do my reporting.
